~Tasty Tuesday~

The Christmas season is always SO busy!  I cannot believe that we are only 11 days away from the holiday!  If you are like me then you still have things to do & goodies to make.  This recipe is a classic that doesn't take long to make, is easy & always tastes good!  It is easy to keep all the ingredients on hand for when you need another "goodie" to take somewhere.

Puppy Chow
1 Package (6oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
6 Cups Kellogg's Crisp-X Cereal
2 Cups Powdered Sugar

 1. In a small bowl, mix chocolate & oil.  Melt over a double boiler (or microwave for 1 1/2 minutes) until chocolate is melted.  Stir in peanut butter.  Pour over cereal.
2. Place powdered sugar in zip lock gallon bag.  Add coated cereal & close bag tightly.  Shake bag until coated with sugar.

Refrigerate in airtight container until ready to serve.

Hope you all enjoy & don't get too caught up in the rush to forget the real meaning of Christmas!

Rachel
