{Tasty} Tuesday

September marks the 4th anniversary of us moving to AR.  I cannot believe that it has already been 4 years...time has flown!  I am so thankful that God allowed us to move here.  I have never once regretted moving our family.
I'm pretty sure that I got my official "transplant" card when I added grits to our family menu last week.
Turns out I love grits!  Especially good grits.  I recently had grits from a local restaurant that were jalapeno & cheddar.  The were good, not great & I knew I could improve.
Insert Cream Cheese.

Jalapeno Popper Grits

Quick cooking Grits.

Cream Cheese, fresh chopped jalapeno & sharp cheddar cheese.

Dinner in 10 minutes flat!
The grits were so yummy!  Spicy, creamy lick your plate good.

Enjoy!

  1. Sounds like a good idea for all those peppers we grow but can't figure out what to do with. :)

  2. This southern girl (if you can still call me that after this admission) has never even tried grits! Looks super yummy though!

  3. Leslie: Yes! I used our still growing pepper plants. Will they ever stop producing?!?!? :)

Carrie: I cannot believe that YOU, who grew up on a FARM, have never had grits! :) Confession from me...I really only love them when they are loaded with cheese. :)
